Hello, Tuscany here, I am the girl behind the lens!

blanc. came about as a bit of a natural progression, partly through getting older and growing up (eek!) and with many years shooting fast paced events, such as large music festivals, fashion parades and gigs/parties. As I got a bit older it felt natural to turn my camera toward weddings, the atmosphere is very similar, everyone is in high spirits, big smiles are around, and you only have the one moment to work in.

My style of wedding photography is relaxed and natural, taking a story telling approach to covering the day. I’ve been told I really capture the mood of an event through my photos - details, people, and places with a focus on using natural light and genuine, candid moments. I don’t like to stage things, if it happened, it’s on camera! I will be there to make you feel comfortable, keep it fun, not serious, and occassionally pull you aside for a portrait when the light is just right.

Outside of weddings, I photograph a lot of fashion/advertising jobs for clients and feel this editorial style translates into my wedding work. I have a keen eye for detail, and notice the effort you have put into styling your wedding day. (Which is also why I will never turn up to your wedding in head-to-toe black or jeans and sneakers - its important to try blend in with the guests and work like a ninja - not look like one!) I notice the things that make it personal to you, and capture it, you can later look back on your hard work and be proud - or proud of that friend or family member who made something special for your day.
